Antique & Vintage Jewelry Care

Antique and vintage jewelry pieces have, by thier nature, lived a lot of life. While we rehab and rebuild when necessary, we try to leave pieces in as much of the same condition we receive them in as we can. These pieces almost always have ordinary wear commensurate with age. Any work completed on The Estate by Vellum Hall will be disclosed as well as any wear or damage beyond what is considered normal wear and tear.

Age can make items more prone to wear and damage, so we recommend always have your pieces regularly inspected (every 6 months to 1 year) and having maintenance work done as necessary. We also recommend insuring all jewelry for your own protection in the event of loss or damage.
