Antique Old Mine & Cultured Peal Cluster Drop Earrings
One cannot get more quintessentially classic than with diamonds & pearls. These earrings are for the romantics; the artists; the dreamers.
These earrings are beautifully built. 1.6 total carats of old mine diamonds surround 2 creamy, cultured pearls in a drop style setting. They test just under 18k gold and each is marked "1681" on the clasp and a French eagle hallmark.
On the Curation
Not only are these earrings a capture of the classics, but they have presence and weight to them. That combination gives them a lot of versatility and better longevity.
We also believe these earrings tell a beautiful story of reinvention. The cultured pearls are believed to be later replacements, while the remaining settings and old mine cut diamonds likely date to the Belle Époque era. Rather than diminishing the piece, that history gives it depth; a jewel preserved through continued wear, care, and renewal.
A reminder that ceasing to be one thing does not mean you cease all together.

Metal: 17–18k gold with platinum-topped settings, French eagle hallmarks
Diamonds: 16 old mine cut diamonds, approximately 1.6 tcw, H/I color, mixed SI/I clarity.
**Note, The antique diamonds display age-appropriate wear and abrasions under magnification, including one more noticeable girdle abrasion.
Pearls: Cultured pearls, ivory/champagne tone
