2.71 Honey Champagne Natural Elongated Old Mine Cut Diamond

Warmth, scale, and character lend this Portrait Entry an elegance suited to the modern classics. The central diamond measures just under 3 carats and displays a soft champagne hue, enhanced by its 18k yellow gold setting. Though graded I1 in clarity, the inclusions are arranged in a manner that allows the diamond to maintain an attractive face-up presentation.

Its elongated outline and broad, open facets draw the eye inward, while the subtle hue imparts a softness to the overall architecture.

Why We've Crafted it

The Portrait is our newest studio ring bringing a Vellum Hall touch to a tried and true jewelry style. Instead of the thicker bezels of the true Georgian "button back" styles, here a thin bezel and petite claw prongs perfectly frame the center stone. 
The Portrait is made to flatter more elongated shapes set in either north/south or east/west orientation. Vellum Hall pieces are are influenced largely by architecture and specifically, arches. Here that influence comes in through the basket with a soft arched pattern as well as with the overall scale.
