1.77 ct. Antique Old Mine Gothic Inspired Solitaire Engagement Ring
This Signature entry is a pure & classic iteration of the design. It features a 1.77, beautifully warm N color Old Mine Natural diamond. It has crisp faceting and is a very clean VS2 clarity.
Between 1.5 and 2 carats is what we recommend for the majority of natural diamond shoppers. In this setting, the diamond remains the focal point where there is detail and uniqueness in the basket.
Broad, irregular faceting, a varied girdle and softly imperfect symmetry give it the visual character of an old cut. Its exact cutting history is unknown, though its proportions and faceting may indicate an older stone that was subsequently recut or repolished.

I highly recommend Vellum Hall for all your stunning true antique (or antique inspired) jewelry needs! I worked with Vellum Hall on my gorgeous 3 stone ruby and OEC diamond ring, and it turned out perfectly! They have incredible attention to detail in their designs and helped me find the perfect setting! They were also very patient with me when we were in the design consultation process. I can’t wait to see what’s next for this design house!

I spent months searching for the perfect antique old mine cut diamond for my elopement ring! Vellum Hall Jewelry was so helpful and patient! They sent me tons of pictures and videos!
Sometimes shopping for antique diamonds can be hard because diamond dealers can be a little judgmental if you’re not willing to spend 50k on a diamond, but I never felt any pressure with Vellum Hall!
